THE EVOLUTION OF SLAY THE MIC®
I started coaching in 2016 when I was hosting my own TV show on Rogers TV called A Voice for All.
At the same time, I was becoming known as the go-to emcee in my city. I used to call myself Peel Region’s Beyoncé because I brought that level of energy to every stage and every event I hosted.

After every event, people would come up to me and ask, “How do I do that?”
At first, I didn’t know what they meant. I thought they were asking about hosting events or writing a speech. But what they were really asking was how I looked and sounded so comfortable in front of a crowd.
One morning, over a cup of espresso, I told my husband that I was thinking about offering coaching to help people feel more confident on stage. He didn’t even hesitate.
“Of course you can do that.”
So I did. And just like that, Slay the Mic® was born.

If you’ve been following my journey for years, you know that I’ve built all of this without a talent agent, without PR, and without a speakers bureau. Just my voice and the belief that I could create the life I wanted. I used my voice to speak opportunities into existence — like landing my own collaboration with Smash + Tess and co-hosting multiple episodes of CTV’s The Social — all without representation.
But I’ve also had to use my voice offline, in the private moments where there was no crowd, no applause, and no public support. In times of grief. In the aftermath of a hate crime. In moments where I needed to heal and protect my peace.
That’s what this work is really about.

Do I have to be a professional speaker or business owner?
Not at all. Some of my clients are entrepreneurs or leaders. Others join simply because they’re ready to trust their voice again. Whether you use your voice on stage, in meetings, in relationships, or just for yourself, this Mastermind will meet you where you are. Is this Mastermind only for women? No. Your Vocal Transformation welcomes all voices. If you’re ready to reconnect with your voice and explore what it can do, you belong here. When does the Mastermind begin? The first live class begins Monday, February 2, 2026. We meet three times a week — Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7:00 a.m. EST via Zoom. Do I need to attend live? Life happens, and I get it. Every session is recorded, so you’ll have access to the replay right after class. That said, there’s something powerful about showing up live — the energy, the connection, the breakthroughs. If you can make it, make it. You’ll feel the difference. Do I have to be on camera? No, it’s not mandatory, but it’s encouraged. Being on camera helps you feel seen, keeps you engaged, and gives your voice a chance to show up fully. Is there a payment plan? Yes. You can pay in full or through a payment plan.
